Rocking Book Covers is a single-designer premade and custom cover studio run by Adrijus Guscia, who founded the shop in 2012. Every premade cover is sold exactly once — on purchase it is deleted from the catalog, so no other author can use the same design. A full census of the shop's product feed on 2026-08-27 found 3,154 live products and zero marked sold, which confirms the retire-by-deletion model: everything you can see is buyable.

Limitations#

• AI is no longer categorically excluded. The custom pages now state: "I don't generate whole covers with AI, and don't like the idea, but I'm willing to use AI with the author's permission on their cover to generate unique design assets." Whole-cover AI generation is still refused and asset generation is opt-in, but authors who need a hard no-AI guarantee should ask before commissioning
• The custom revision count contradicts itself. The package cards sell "up to 5 / 6 / 7 revisions," while the FAQ on the same page says "I limited them to 3-4 because if more is needed, there is most likely a miscommunication between us." Get the number in writing before paying the deposit
• YA/fantasy catalog is thin and shrinking: 130 designs against 1,943 in thriller, down from 142 at the last check
• The site's own "starts at" copy is stale: the thriller page still says covers "start at just $50" and the romance page "$40," while the live shop sells thriller from $35 and romance from $30. The About page claims "over 13 years" of experience and the custom pages "10+ years"
• Premade refunds are narrow: refundable only if the cover was never finalized and never published; once it is customized and live, no refund. Print files are an add-on, never included
