GetCovers sells custom book covers at some of the lowest fixed prices in the industry, starting at $10 for an ebook cover, with a 4.9/5 Trustpilot rating across 3,886 reviews. It is based in Ukraine — two offices near the western border — and works entirely in-house with no marketplace outsourcing. The company is candid about how the price is achieved: its About page says it staffs "in-house junior designers" and invests in training them. GetCovers is part of the Miblgroup family of brands, alongside the mid-market studio Miblart.

What You Get#

Three tiers, all including unlimited revisions, a 3D mockup, and a licence-details document naming every image and font used:

• Basic — $10: Ebook cover only, 1 licensed image/font, 4-day turnaround. No back cover or spine, no print-ready file, no source file
• Standard — $20: Adds back cover and spine plus a print-ready file, 2 licensed images/fonts, 4-day turnaround. Still no source file
• Premium — $35: Adds the source file and 3–5 licensed images/fonts, 5-day turnaround — the only tier that ships a PSD as standard
• Rush delivery: +$10 on any tier for 1-business-day turnaround
• Source file: the Premium PSD is flattened with separate editable text, not fully layered art. Basic and Standard can add it at checkout for $10 — so a $20 Standard plus $10 gets both the print wrap and the PSD for $5 less than Premium, which instead buys 3–5 licensed images rather than 2

Limitations#

• You get a licence, not the artwork: the Terms state the company "retains copyright and ownership of all design and draft materials." Full payment buys a standard licence only — Miblart, TS95 and Creative Paramita all transfer more
• Junior-designer staffing: the vendor states this itself. It is the honest explanation for a $10 cover, but authors who need a senior hand on a difficult brief should read it as a real constraint
• "Unlimited revisions" has boundaries: it does not cover changing the direction or concept once work has started, adding extra images, or anything requested more than a month after completion — each of those is billed separately
• The refund dies at approval: the 100% money-back guarantee is void "after the client has approved the design," so it protects you only up to sign-off
• No source file below $35 unless you add it for $10, and no fully layered art at any price — the Premium PSD is flattened with editable text only
• Won't touch another designer's work: GetCovers declines covers designed by other freelancers or companies except for formatting, typography, and back cover/spine work. This also gates the animated-cover line, which needs a source file it will only work from if the cover is its own
• Published turnaround is inconsistent: the package cards say 4–5 days, the FAQ says 1–3, and the checkout URLs say 2–3. The tier cards are the figure closest to checkout and the one used here
• Illustration is quote-only: the Terms still price an illustrated cover line (hand-drawn art, source file, first sketch in 5–7 days), but its dedicated page now redirects to the homepage and no price is published anywhere
• Promotional codes are stale marketing furniture: the homepage ran an Easter code "valid till April 6th" and the cover page advertised "Black Friday bundles" — both in August 2026, and the bundle cards discount ~30% while the code claims 20%. Treat list prices as the real prices
• Portfolio rights are automatic: the company reserves the right to use your finished cover, name and book title in its portfolio and marketing, with no stated opt-out
