• KDP print complexity: Building a full-wrap print cover with correct spine width requires manually calculating dimensions using KDP's Cover Calculator, then configuring Canva's canvas to match. There is no automated setup — the process is workable but technical.
• AI is rationed, and cover work uses the expensive tier: Image generation draws on Premium AI, where Pro allows roughly 200 uses a month. That is comfortable for one cover with iterations and tight for a series or heavy concept exploration.
