MakeMyBookCover is an AI book cover generator built for Amazon KDP authors. You enter a title, author name, genre and short story brief, pick a genre archetype, and get cover directions in about a minute. Refinements, the 1600 × 2560 ebook export and a paperback full-wrap PDF all happen in the same project.

What You Get#

• Genre archetypes: Styles for romance, fantasy, thriller/mystery, nonfiction, children's and cookbook, such as dark romance, cozy mystery, bedtime picture book or business framework. The vendor bases them on its own hand-coded review of 332 Amazon bestseller covers (2026-Q3).
• Editable type: The title is set as live text, not painted into the image. The vendor lists typeface, size, spacing, alignment, colour and position controls as free.

Strengths#

• Clear credit rules: The pricing page lists exactly what costs a generation and what doesn't. Failed or cancelled requests are free.
• Ownership: The terms assign output ownership to the author. Paid downloads allow worldwide commercial use with no attribution. Your inputs and covers aren't used to train AI.

Limitations#

• Very new: The domain was registered in April 2026. No independent user reviews turned up on Reddit, Trustpilot or author forums, only a listicle mention.
• Unstable specs: Pack sizes, prices and credit expiry all changed between August and September 2026 (earlier packs were $14 for 10 and $29 for 30).
• Editing claims conflict: One vendor page says you can drag text freely. Another says moving anything means describing it in words, which uses a generation. A third-party review in August 2026 said fonts couldn't be swapped.
• No originality guarantee: Images come from third-party models (FAL.ai and KIE.ai gpt-image-2). The terms warn that other users may get similar output and that copyright eligibility isn't guaranteed.
• Narrow genre range: No sci-fi, horror or literary fiction archetypes yet.
• Hardcover: The hardcover tool only fits front artwork to the case. It doesn't build the back or spine.
• Thin company details: The operator is NexusGrowth, LLC, listed at a Delaware registered-agent address. The founder's name differs between the live About page and older indexed copies.
