LibraryThing Early Reviewers is a completely free ARC program run monthly by LibraryThing, one of the web's oldest and most active book cataloging communities. Authors and publishers offer copies of new or forthcoming books each month, and LibraryThing's algorithm matches those copies to members most likely to enjoy and review the title based on their catalogued reading history and past review behavior.

The program is genuinely free for authors and publishers — the only cost is providing the copies themselves. Books must be new or forthcoming (published within six months of the batch date). Print copies: 5–30 per batch. Digital copies (ebook or digital audiobook): 5–10 per batch, accepted in EPUB, Kindle, MOBI, or PDF format. Reviews are required within 90 days of the batch close date and must be posted on LibraryThing; cross-posting to Amazon or Goodreads is encouraged but not required.

Monthly batches in 2025 regularly feature 200–280+ books and 4,000–6,000+ copies. LibraryThing promotes each batch to close to 100,000 Early Reviewers members and over 1 million monthly newsletter recipients, giving participating titles meaningful visibility in a community of dedicated readers and book collectors.
