BookFunnel is the dominant ebook delivery platform in the indie author space, used by tens of thousands of authors for reader magnet delivery, ARC distribution, direct sales, and group promotions. While not a reviewer marketplace like BookSprout or BookSirens, its Certified Mail feature makes it the tool of choice for authors managing their own ARC teams.

With Certified Mail (available on Mid-List plans and above), each ARC recipient receives a unique, personalized download link — watermarked with their email address to deter piracy. The system tracks who has downloaded, automatically sends reminder emails to non-downloaders, and follows up with reviewers on release day. Campaigns expire automatically, ensuring your pre-release content doesn't circulate indefinitely.

Pricing plans (annual, as of Feb 20, 2026 restructure):

• First-Time Author: $30/year — 1 pen name, 500 downloads/month, landing pages, group promos, author swaps, custom domains (no email collection)
• Mid-List Author: $200/year — up to 4 pen names, 5,000 downloads/month, email collection, mailing list integrations (now included by default), ebook signing, ARC Certified Mail
• Bestseller: $300/year — up to 6 pen names, unlimited downloads, mailing list integrations (up to 6), priority support

Audiobook delivery is now usage-based: 5,000 delivered hours of audio for $10/month or $100/year; 10,000 hours for $20/month or $200/year. Existing customers are grandfathered at their old pricing indefinitely unless they opt into a new plan.
